The summer holidays have begun...for me at least! ...

The summer holidays have begun...for me at least! Yep, my summer holidays actually start three weeks earlier than Fatimah and Ali, so I get extra time to enjoy my holidays - lucky me!

Although it’s the summer holidays, we’ve still got a lot of work to do here at #TheOldForgeCottage 🏡 Our days are always filled with endless tasks around the house and the weight of the renovation work we are hammering away at to complete our very own dream home…

And to relax and unwind after yet another day of deciding what to order from the takeaway since our kitchen is still a work in progress, we’ve decided to have a lil’ ‘jam session’ - sitting back, enjoying some tunes and singing with my very own trusty backup singers...that’s right, my amazing multi-talented lil’ brother and sister Fatimah and Ali #TheAccidentalTwins joined me for our a cappella home performance of #WELLERMAN - and though it didn’t go exactly according to plan, in Ali’s words: “It’s ok!” We still had a laugh and got a well-deserved break from our cottage renovation!
